I live a few km west of Zurich and would like to know why there are so many erotic supermarkets and stores on the edge of the city on a scale that we don't have in England , especially when it seems that many people are relatively dull, going home early they say to sleep , arriving early to the office etc etc Of course, I visited one in Volketswil to see what they were selling, find out how full it was on a Saturday, and curiously why it was located so close the local MacDonalds!!!
Who is buying all of this stuff, and are the local people awake enough to use it all? Is there something I'm not seeing?? This user would like to thank jacksprat for this useful post: peachy. Just look at TV after 11pm. There is a sex shop near my house so I walk past it regularly. One day I bumped into one of my married neighbour coming out of the shop with a huge bag.
The look on his face was priceless. He had no choice but to speak to me about the weather. Last edited by cheese hole; This user would like to thank cheese hole for this useful post: Polorise. This user would like to thank Marcashvin for this useful post: Polorise.
There is one at the large Autobahn rest area just south of Pratteln right outside Basel. Always cracked me up, for those weary travelers who need a little something to continue their journey, fill up the tank and pop into Beate Uhse while you're on your way to Zurich. Interesting question However, what goes on behind closed doors is well You can't help but wonder As the expression in German goes "stille wasser laufen tief" - "quiet waters run deep" Are they that bad?
