What is "Tango: el Chamuyo"? Luciano from Argentina who offer a different approach to learning how to dance tango. Wait, what? What do you mean? Well, while I was learning how to dance, I took countless classes with different teachers from all over the world. Each one of them had their own style of dancing, and, of course, teaching. Each of them also had a lot of unique moves of their own. Unfortunately, my time with them was limited - it would have taken me years and hundreds of lessons to absorb all the knowledge and variety of steps they had to offer.
I needed a faster and more universal way of learning. I wanted to learn how to teach myself all those beautiful steps and develop my dancing without being forced to copy every step from a teacher. So I took some time investigating the most transparent way to allow someone get into the inner workings of tango without spending years of effort.
All the steps in tango are put together by three basic movements that you learn at the very beginning. The problems arise when you just repeat and internalize a set sequence of steps without actually learning how to dance freely.
We believe everyone has a different learning pace and requires different methods for absorbing knowledge - therefore we find it important to adapt to each individual so that everyone has the same sense of progress. That way, the classes contain enough information to satisfy the eager learners, but not too much to overwhelm those who want to learn at a slower pace.
The course and classes cover everything from absolute beginner to intermediate. I think this is worth more than hundreds of the "packaged" tango moves you can memorize. Teach a man to understand tango, and he can dance anything he wants.
