SAPA Zenica is faced every day with more and more atrocities committed against stray animals, dogs in particular and we need your support, friendship, help, we need you to spread the word. We help every abandon animal in need, every - and at all times. So often, cases on the field we face and help every day go unpublished⦠Only few weeks ago in mid-July, we wrote about monstrous case of horrendous abuse and maltreatment of dogs in Zenica, and we asked for Justice for Dona, who was discovered in Zenica in an improvised garbage deposite, in a sealed coffin, buried alive and thrown into the garbage.
She was disposed like this while still alive, and hardly breathing, underweight, with wounds all over her body to dye a slow agonizing death. She was diagnosed with severe injuries most likely inflicted by a human, beaten, had infected wounds, broken legs and pelvis, also visible was that she had babies recently. We promised we would fight for her life and for a better Zenica, where such animal abuses would no longer go unnoticed and unpunished.
We named her Dona and Donas will for living endured. She was operated and is slowly beginning to walk. Dona will live!!! In spite of human hatred and ill intentions she lives. This weekend in less then 24 hours, two dogs were on purpose hit by a car. A small Pekinese girl was thrown abandoned on the highway M17 near Zenica, thrown out of the car and then hit by another car.
She suffered severe trauma, was all bruised up, hit on the head and on the leg was shaking, vomiting but will luckily be ok. She was taken to the clinic, given medication, X ray showed no broken bones.
Brko, a male beautiful dog, a mascot of one part of Zenica was severely hit by car on the head, leg and hip and was not as fortunate as Pekica, he suffered severe trauma on his head, we feared of internal bleeding, his hip is out of place and he will undergo surgery tomorrow.
